Recently we had a call from a security director at a large hospital in the southeast and he invited us to visit their facilities and discuss parking management options. Upon arrival, the hospital was undergoing a major expansion and the campus was dotted with bulldozers and construction trucks. As first time visitors we were already unsure where to park, and the construction made it just a bit more difficult for us to get to our appointment. We have received several calls from folks representing casinos over the past few months and noticed a couple of common themes. First, everyone is looking for ways to make their guests’ stay more comfortable and convenient, and one way to do that is to address parking. Valet parking is a convenience that is becoming more and more employed at casinos throughout the United States, and patrons appreciate this service. Since it’s inauguration in 2003, the Wells Fargo Championship, which is held at the Quail Hollow Club, in Charlotte, North Carolina, has become one of the top events of the PGA Tour. Park Inc has proudly provided valet parking services during this time and we’re looking forward to this year’s event, which starts on Monday. The PGA Tour recently awarded the Championship “Best In Class” honor for operational presentation, and Park Inc was recognized by the Championship for playing a part in that recognition.
